See all reviews. Most will find this book easy to read and follow. For a young Christian, physically or spiritually, I would not recommend this book because it lacks anything more than what reading the Bible could do for them. This is a great resource.

Beautiful cover, thick and glossy pages, and a lot of images to help the reader visualize the various places, people, and objects that were discussed throughout. We are doing a group Bible study so I have not read the whole book yet but it gives lots of information I have always wondered about like why was Joseph’s Jesus’s earthly fathers lineage important.
This fifth edition includes updates and revisions throughout and a fresh, full-color design. Though Gundry has been the subject of some controversy within the Evangelical church, I have appreciated his contributions to the reference literature.

This fifth edition of his widely used A Survey All Christians and anyone who wants to understand the NT. Among his books are Mark: Amazon Second Chance Pass it on, trade it in, give it a second life.
Of course, a survey is not meant to be all-inclusive and detailed oriented, but this book was survy lacking in anything for the reader to benefit from. I recommend its use wholeheartedly. The video content alone in the enhanced version is worth the purchase. It is as if someone just pushed the “digital” version and never bothered to see if it converted successfully or proof read. As another user mentioned, the Kindle version does not include page numbers, which are required for assignments that quote from the textbook.
Want to Read Currently Reading Read. I found it helpful to gain an organized thematic overview of each of the books of the NT while understanding its historical context with emphases on the authenticity of the canonical text.
