RJ controller – has RSC 25pin on front. The question was posted last week.

Perhaps someone will chime in. My success was as far as actually seeing packets of info arcjate transferred when I would try to backup TP programs from the teach pendant. I do not yet have access to the CRC. I made up what I believe is the right custom cable. Do you have access to the Fanuc CRC? July 01, The extrusions are on a rotating fixture so that all the welds can be done. I was of the understanding that the STE Bridge software would create this connection, which could then be picked up on the network – or better yet, on the server laptop itself.

I move the tip to the corner of the work piece using the pendant and save that point as a second position register.

Thanks again for the input! Kfloppy is an included program that does not require a license, so it will continue to work after the trial period.

ERBU free demo version arcmare all I need to make simple backups. Any insight on Fanuc programming is welcome. July 31, I guess if I understand correctly, Kfloppy is listening for serial protocol and will avoid the need for any other software or hardware other then the fabricated cable. I would like to put some steps in the beginning of the arcnate to check and adjust the programmed positions. His Join date was December 24, Advertisement Guest Advertisement Guest.

This works well the only headache is adjustments to the program need to be done in 4 places. I haven’t been able to pull it off. I am also still seeking the Kfloppy software so I might try to just use the older, simple arcmatd of backing them up. Here is where I am struggling, I can use the program shift utility to move the relevant sections of the program manually but I would like to do it from within the program. I now find the difference between afcmate position register and the originally programmed arcmatf and store this in a third position register.

Thanks to Biozombie, The parts are longish beams, I use the rotary fixture so that I mount the part once for each end and can the weld all round in stages. To my knowledge, the Fanuc controller does not support this, so regardless of what you do on your laptop you cannot use the program xrcmate mentioned and expect it to work. This will not work. I do NOT have K-floppy software.

Started by Dave on Used Robots and parts. I’m trying to setup a connection via the serial rs port with a pc and it just dont seem to work.

The upper right tells the join date. I have a laptop with RS 9pin on the back. I hope that I can give back something to the robot community December 31, Hi guys, i’m having some problem with a r-j2 controller, it might be simple for 100u of you guys here but i’m kind of lost right now, i’ve been messing with it for a couple days so far and nothing seem to be working.

I think I understand the problem you are talking about though. And welcome to the forum! I will do the same. The serial port is a serial port, your network interface is a network interface. I found my arcmatf desktop with WinXP on it, and a serial port on the back. It’s not just a matter of getting the signal to a network point of communication. I’m rather surprised your it guy didn’t know this. November 05, arcmage,
