This one ties up the last book, and ends well. Indeed, she could turn their entire society upside down—offering escape from their planetary prison. I recently read another Star Wars book that predates movie story line by several thousand years and it felt far withdrawn from the universe we know and love forget canon vs legends, you still expect a somewhat similar feel.

With many different agendas it makes sense this book would have a diverse array of characters as well. The truth that we as readers see from Korsin’s vantage point is warped over time until almost nothing is as it was in the beginning. It only offers some background on the origin of the Sith, it can be read for historical reasons, if you want to know more about that, but if you seek fun, action, adventure – you won’t get it. The nature of the collection is such that some of the stories interconnect directly, one after the other, but it covers a period of years or so before all is said and done.

They live out the rest of their lives in the jungle where no Sith ever venture. Through the two books Ori becomes an outcast and slave and joins up with Jelph. I dug in and read Asimov’s Foundation series in publication order, which was the seentinel decision, since reading earlier books would have ruined some of the suspense of the later books, since Asimov wrote of mysteries that had yet to be solved in his prequels.
There’s so much of it and my understanding is that much of these books are really bleak and poorly written. Ori, not-quite a Sith, not-quite a Jedi. People betrayed each other just to make sure they get what they want.
